Tigers Aiming for a Sucktacular Season after Suprisingly OK Start

Do you feel that? Things are changing in Detroit! Tiger Manager Jim Leyland has declared that the Detroit Tigers suck after they lost to the Cleveland Indians 10-2. Us Detroit fans have long accepted that the Tigers were super sucky as determined by the standard Detroit Lions scale for suckiness: Head Scratchingly Good, Suprisingly OK, Suck, Sucky, Super Sucky, Sucktacular, Sucktacularistic.

Both the Lions and Tigers have been stuck in the Super Sucky to Sucktacularistic range for ages now. For the Tigers to reach the Suck range is monumental. It is unfortunate, but I will have to correct Leyland.

The Tigers are 7-6 this season. That puts them roughly in the Super Sucky to Sucktacular range. I will admit that their 5-0 start was Suprisingly OK, perhaps even Head Scratching Good. In true Tigers style though they brought it back to their normal operating range, Super Sucky. Go Tigers!
