Obama has to disavow any statement made by any liberal voice no matter whether they are directly linked to his campaign or not. Since McCain is a straight talking maverick who likes donuts with sprinkles, he is assumed to speak for himself, even when his top economic advisor says something like we are all a bunch of whiners. Therefore, he nevers has to disavow any conservative voice, even when they are on his staff.
