How the hell did this person get on TV?

I understand most people on TV are vapid and idiotic and probably do not deserve to be on. But this women is not even attractive and is maybe the dumbest person on TV. While dramatic to equate our civilization with Nero and the Romans. Still, when she opens her mouth it's hard not to think our great civilization has reached its end.
