Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flowing Through the Strip

When Kurt Cobain died in 1994 it was a tragedy for many reasons, obviously. And one of those reasons was the music we would never get to hear. If Nirvana's trajectory was any indication, that loss was huge. For I believe "In Utero" is by far the superior album. Just such a ginormous artist step up from "Nevermind". And some of the songs recorded around or after show Nirvana continuing to stretch themselves artistically. It probably would have upset a lot of their fans, as they moved away from the poppier elements into more experimental territory. But it would have been exciting for those who stuck around.

One of my favorite later Nirvana songs is "Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol Flowing Through the Strip". If this was an indication of the direction they were headed, we missed out even more than most people know. ENJOY!
