Ass Munch Contradicts

It took less than a week for Ass Munch to violate his decision to not report on the spouses and marital history of the presidential candidates. And guesses whom he was digging into? That's right, the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

From Friday's online chat:

New York: Will you and the media ever apply as much scrutiny to the Giuliani marriages as you have done to the single Clinton marriage?

David S. Broder: I plan to leave both subjects alone.

From today's Washington Post article:

The former president's intervention -- volunteered during a campaign appearance on her behalf in South Carolina -- raised the second, and largely unspoken, issue identified by my friend from the Clinton administration: the two-headed campaign and the prospect of a dual presidency.

Ass Munch really lives in his own world. If only he really had no affect in shaping conventional wisdom. Sadly, he still does. And I'll be waiting and counting down the days until Ass Munch writes an article dissecting Guiliani's marriages.

BTW, these issues of Bill in the White House and a monarchy were not even brought up by the media during Bush 2: Electric Boogaloo's run in 2000. If anything it was considered a strength that Papa Bush might yield his wisdom. Funny how these concerns only happen when it applies to a Democrat. Then again, Bush didn't come in and trash the White House. Instead, he just trashed the whole goddamn country. But as long as the cocktail parties are kept up, it really doesn't matter.
