Red Sux Nation

I hate the Red Sux. There, I said it. I hate them more than the Yankees or Duke or even Michigan State. In my hell, the Red Sux will win every game as I'm surrounding by Red Sux Nation with Jimmy Buffett playing non-stop and Dane Cook spazzing in my face. Did I mention I hate Red Sux Nation?

That being said, the run the Red Sux have been on since being down 3-1 to the Indians has been incredible. I have never seen a team so dominant offensively for such a period of time, let alone in the playoffs. If it weren't the Red Sux, I would be enjoying it more. However, I still find it extroadinary and this team, begrudgingly, gets a lot of respect from me.

I just dread the next year as the obnoxious Red Sux Nation lets everyone know their team won it all. And sure some of it is due to the makeup of their fans. But I also think it's the little brother syndrome. After years of getting beat up by the older brother (Yankees), the younger brother overreacts when they finally beat their older brother. And they continue to overreact, even as they become their older brother.
