Women Dies from Water Intoxication
A radio station hosts a contest where the participants have to consume a large quantity of water in order to win a Nintendo Wii. The last person who goes to the bathroom wins. Apparently a mother of three enters this contestant and as a result dies from water intoxication. The worst part is that she didn't even win.
Wow. You can't make this stuff up. A story like this really makes you think. Are we really the smartest life forms out there? We have not even mastered the art of consuming liquids yet!
Do you think the woman's family will sue the company who made the bottled water? Bottled water is now known to be dangerous. Perhaps it should contain a warning like alcohol and tobacco products; "Warning: Do not over consume! Can cause brain swelling and possible death."
In all seriousness the radio station who held the contest should be sued over this stupid contest. You don't need to use that much water to get the desired effect of getting someone to pee. All it takes is 32oz and approximately 45 minutes.
This is one of those stories that is so unbelievable that you start laughing when you hear it. Then you hate yourself for laughing, because you feel like such an ass. Wow. WTF!
