Just Asking
If something is truly a great idea, is it necessary to have 60 politicians from one party in the Senate to get it passed?
Grover Norquist - would he go away and leave us alone if we just granted him tax extempt status for the rest of his life? If so, I propose that as an amendment. Of course, we'll have to charge him on a per usage basis to use America's roads, police, ambulances, sewage system, sanitation, etc.

Last Friday Grover Norquist spoke at an American Prospect breakfast, and Cocco reports he had this to say about reviving efforts to privatize Social Security: “I believe that when there are 60 Republican senators we will move Social Security from the present Ponzi scheme to a fully funded, individually held system.”Tags: * politics * president * george bush * republican * democrat * conservative * liberal * congress * Social Security * Grover Norquist * Congress * Senate
