The announcers had some interesting one liners such as:

• Some people skate to Romeo and Juliet, Sasha Cohen is Juliet. (Think the announcers are biased for the Americans?)
• Interesting how the only one who is crying during the Japanese National Anthem is Russian Irina Slutskaya. (She should have won the gold but received the bronze because of a fall.)
• Such strength, such beauty, that's a lady skating. (This is in reference to Misako Sterbenz who won the gold.)

They must work overtime to come up with such brilliant lines. It's even crazier when the announcers pretend to know what is going on in the mind of an athlete. Are we watching a sporting event or Being John Malkovich?

The former Sierra video game creator has one of the funniest websites around. If you don't know who Al Lowe, you are probably not familiar with his awesome game series: Leisure Suit Larry and Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist. Al provides hints on his site for the hapless victims who are still trying to finish those games. You don't have to be a fan to enjoy the site. Al has a joke list you can subscribe to, a sight gag browser, video humor, and audio humor. Anyways, I highly recommend a visit if you don't feel like working.
