Still Waiting

It has now been over a week since McCain broke campaign finance laws, the same law he helped enact, and the media is silent. With a punishment of 5 years in jail, you would think the media would care at least from the standpoint of whether we want a president to be on trial or in jail while serving our country. For those who don't know, the law is fairly explicit. When McCain was doing poorly, he entered into the public financing system which has a spending limit of I want to say $54 million. He then used this as collateral on a loan, which is listed as agreement into the system. As he started to do well, he decided he would back out of the system. And he has continued to spend and now has exceeded the $54 million limit. Without any approval. For he and he alone apparently decides whether he legally can withdraw from the system, even though no decision has been made yet. You would think maybe this would be an interesting topic to cover. Then again, it doesn't feature a scary black man saying God damn America".
