On Avery Island

Was reminded this week by Pitchfork that this is the 10 year anniversary of Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea". This CD holds a special place for me and is definitely in my top 5 CDs ever. Based on Pitchfork's lead, I am planning on a post on my thoughts on ITAOTS. But they also released a great album before, called "Avery Island". Below are some standout tracks. ENJOY!
