Is There Any Downside to Being Wrong?

Apparently not...if you are a neocon.

Say you've been wrong about every major issue of at least the past 7 years, if not the last 15 years. Add to it the fact that you're a legacy who only got the "acclaim" and position because of your parents. Then sprinkle in your general demeanor, which can best be described as pompous assholeness. In a just world, you would not be on TV helping shape the course of political discourse in this country. However, if you're a neocon you're rewarded with an editorial column at the NY Times. Beautiful!
