The Douchebag

Here at Life Is Crap we are pleased to announce the 2007 recipient of college football's most prestigious award, The Douchebag. In a college football season marred by mediocrity, The Douchebag became a very difficult award to give out. Preseason favorite Tim Tebow turned out to actually be good, making him a bad candidate for The Douchebag. Darkhorse candidate Jimmy Clausen sucked so bad, as did his Notre Dame team, that I even feel bad considering and would feel I was piling on. Luckily there are still 3 years for him to win the award.

So without further ado, I present your winner of The Douchebag, Hawaii QB Colt Brennan.



Sure, he put up great stats. But he will just be the next in the line of QBs putting up fantastic stats only because of the system and quality of competition. Think Andre Ware, David Klingler, all the Texas Tech QBs, Hawaii's own Timmy Chang, etc. I'm not a talent evaluator but play one on this blog. I will be extremely surprised if Brennan lasts more than 2 years in the pros. To seal the deal, Brennan just looked like a douchebag. Congratulations Colt!
