If a Republican Scandal Falls in the Media's Lap Is it Heard?

Imagine the outrage if this story were about a Democrat:

It has everything that matters to the scandal makers - sex and money. Yet it is having a hard time gaining traction in the "liberal media". Christ Almighty! There was a quicker reaction to the Edwards hair story. Would it trouble the media to just once cover a real Republican scandal as vigorously as they cover a fake Democratic scandal.
