The Worst Day of the Year

Sorry to say but today is the worst day of the year. It's the end of baseball for 5+ months. This also represents the end of Summer to me (I know it officially ended earlier but...). And while we still have college football and the NFL, it's not quite the exciting end of the season. I don't even glance at basketball or hockey until the new year so we can ignore those.

So if you're feeling melancholy today let me be the one to tell you are not alone. For the best part of being the worst day of the year is that the next day is guaranteed to be better.
