The Weird Season

Well, that was a season. Blame it on the injuries. Blame it on bad luck. Blame it on the rain. Hell, Milli Vanilli did. Bottom line, the Detroit Tigers blew it. Mid-July it looked like they had it in the bag. Cue August the suckatude brought the great Leyland ship down.

Leyland: The sweet stash failed us!

Cleveland Indians? Christ. Wasn't there a movie about this? It could be worse. I'm not quite sure how, but it could be. All in all it was a wild September. The Yankees got the coveted wild card and the Tigers are slumping back to their former selves.

I'm not a huge baseball fan, but they got me reading the papers. Maybe next year. Until then, I'll respectively start following the Wings. Football in Detroit is a masochist's wet dream. I rather save myself the aggravation. Doctor's orders.
