No Hair for Britney! WhooHoo!
Did you hear the news? Britney Spears is bald! Why did she do it? Is she certified crazy? What are your thoughts?
Maybe she can draw some hair in... Sharpie anyone?
Ughh! Do we have a fully functional news outlet left in this country? First it was Anna Nicole Smith death, then it was Anna Nicole Smith's will and the baby's father, and now it's Britney's lack of hair! What do these events mean in the greater scheme of things? Nothing!
I shaved my head once in college. I don't remember it affecting people that much. Where was my media frenzy? Is it because I'm a guy. That's freaking guyism! Perhaps it was a case of good old fashioned unfamousism!
I suppose this is different because Britney Spears is a role model to so many teenage girls. Wait... Did I just type that? Can that be true? Crap! We are in a lot of trouble if Britney Spears is a role model to anyone. Wait a second... How the hell did she become a role model? When did she become a role model? Was it before or after the no-underwear affair? Holy crapamoley!
There is no denying that we live in a craptacular society crapateers. So much is going on in this world and we are obsessed with pointless crap like this? I'm happy to report most people don't care about this junk, but there is still enough people who do. That is frightening!
Then again who cares, right? What damages does it do? Overall most people are idiots, so we are just feeding the beast, right? More or less, giving the idiots what they want.
In my opinion these trivial affairs can be quite damaging to our society on a whole. Not just because they make us all a little more stupid and insults our intelligence; but it also takes away from more serious news.
Most Americans are profoundly ignorant when it comes to the rest of the world. We have no idea what's going on. Then again that is not that surprising. We don't even have a clue as to what is going on within our own country or what our elected officials are doing. That's pretty scary!
I don't want to leave on this note, so I will just summarize my thoughts. Britney you are beautiful. Bald is beautiful. You have nothing to be ashamed about. You are still a role model to teenage girls everywhere. Awesome look!
