The Hold Steady at The Super Bowl Pregame

Lost amidst all the hoopla and the sexiness of Mr Rex Grossman during the Super Bowl was the appearance of The Hold Steady at the pregame. No, they didn't play. The NFL reserved that for the truly relevant like Stevie Nicks. Rather, The Hold Steady's "Stuck Between Stations" could be heard at the beginning of Dan Marino's interview with Peyton Manning. Since the NFL felt that The Hold Steady best expresses what it means to be a great QB, I will now refer to them as the QB Band. Or rather, "Stuck Between Stations" will be referred to as the Great QB Song.

In a more perfect world The Hold Steady would be the biggest band right now and nominated for tons of Grammys for "Girls and Boys in America". Instead, maybe 3 people who read this will have heard their music.
