In a Jesus Christ Pose
For some reason I'm picturing this happening with Soundgarden's "Jesus Christ Pose" playing softly in the background. Really, I don't know what is worse. If they actually believe it when they say crap like this or if they think the American people will believe it when they say crap like this. It's truly strange times we live in - dare I say we live in a Bizarro World where black is white and wrong is right.
To continue, seriously, this guy??? If you're gonna worship someone as a messianic figure shouldn't he be the least bit charismatic and have average intelligence? Guess my HS Psychology chapter was wrong when they mentioned cults have charismatic leaders who are smart.

the right is loyal to their party. there is no thought process- period. there is no capacity for abstract thought.
I really hope it's just restricted to this current administration but I doubt it. The next presidential candidate will probably have the same cultish loyalty. Funny how the neo-cons who were so involved (and hawkish) in government during the Cold War have moved us so much closer to an authoritarian state / dictatorship. I predicted after the spying scandal first surfaced, somewhat with my tin foil hat on, that an event in Oct 2008 would "force" Bush to remain president. If he could violate one amendment, what's to prevent him from violating another. Each day that looks more and more like a possibility, as long as the Democratic candidate is in the lead (or a patsy like George Allen doesn't get the Republican nomination). Just last week Bush basically stated he's not bound by Supreme Court rulings.
That's a priceless photo of Dubya....I love you guys...
