These cubs couldn't play any worse than The Chicago Cubs From the Cubs website:
Carlos Zambrano (7-3, 3.33 ERA) will tune up for the All-Star Game on Friday,
facing the Brewers for the third time this season.
So let me get this straight. The Cubs are using a regular season game for their best and All-Star pitcher as a tune up for an exhibition game. That makes a lot of sense!!! Then again, I guess every game is really either a tune up for next year or as a tryout for another team. That's what happens when you're 31-54.

Hmmm.. did the players from the Tigers and Cubs switch teams? Heh.
Anyways my friend at work and I were discussing. In Chicago who is more beloved, the White Soxs or the Cubs?
The Cubs are the more popular team, everything else being equal. However, the Sox won the World Series last year and have I think the second best record in baseball. They now sell out or come close to most of their games (used to be ~50% for a weekday game). And you never used to see a girl wearing Sox stuff around where I live. Now it's rather common. That's what winning will do for you.
Unfortunately the Cubs are awful most years and I still have tickets to 4 games. I should try to sell them before I would have to pay someone to take them.

They look like baby grizzlies. I'm sure they could easily rip off our faces in a single swipe. Grizzlies have been known to hunt people, but not as often as cute and cuddley polar bears.
