Sometimes the Good Die Old

Proving once again that Billy Joel was wrong, Darren McGavin passed away Saturday at the age of 83. While a prolific actor, he will always be remembered as the father from "A Christmas Story". In my opinion he's the most underrated aspect of that movie. While the movie would still be good with an average performance, his performance is one of the reasons it's considered a classic. Let's hope he's in heaven with as many woman's leg lamps as he wants.
