Britny Fox Won't Leave Girl School

Britny Fox circa 1988

Britny Fox may have scored minor hits in the '80s with songs such as "Girlschool", but not everyone is impressed. Students, parents, and teachers have recently complained about the band members spending too much time outside of St Agatha's, a private Catholic high school for girls. Some have even gone so far as to call the police, but nothing seems to deter these rockers. When confronted by the police, lead singer Dizzy Davidson just screams something about his baby breaking all the rules.

It all started innocently enough 2 years ago when St Agatha's decided to have a battle of the bands. Britny Fox wanted to start their comeback with a surprise intimate gig and decided the school where their hit video was filmed would be the perfect venue. At first, no one seemed to notice that no one in Britny Fox was in high school. Most students just assumed they were the fathers of the band. By the time anyone realized what had happened, Britny Fox had finished their set of "Girlschool" and "Long Way to Love." They finished a disappointed 7th.

Now it's 2 years later and Britny Fox has put their comeback on hold. Drummer Johnny Dee bought a one bedroom apartment down the street from St Agatha's that he shares with the other 3 band members. Dizzy Davidson likes to think of the apartment as a place to crash on the odd night when he doesn't find a woman to spend the night with. But Michael Kelly Smith is quick to point out that has been every night for the past 2 years. Regardless, Britny Fox plans to spend the foreseeable future hanging outside of the school that once made them semi-famous - yelling poorly thought out sexual innuendos at the teens and begging for money from their parents.
